Abu appears in Disney's three Aladdin movies and TV series. He is a small monkey, and Aladdin's constant companion. As any monkey would be, he is quite mischievous, which works out well for when he and Aladdin need to steal food on the street. During the first Aladdin film, he spends a good part of the movie as an elephant due to a wish Aladdin asked the Genie to grant.
